Refund, Returns & Cancellation Policy

At The Learning Place, we strive to provide high-quality online tutoring services. This policy outlines the terms related to refunds, cancellations, and rescheduling of tutoring sessions.

1. Service Nature

All services provided by The Learning Place are digital educational services (online tutoring sessions). As no physical goods are shipped, traditional product returns do not apply.

2. Lesson Cancellations

Students or parents may cancel a scheduled lesson by notifying us at least 24 hours before the scheduled session time.

  • If cancellation is made 24 hours or more before the lesson, the session may be rescheduled without additional charge.
  • If cancellation is made less than 24 hours before the lesson, the lesson may be considered used and non-refundable, except in exceptional circumstances.

3. Refund Policy

Refunds may be issued under the following circumstances:

  • If a lesson is cancelled by the tutor or The Learning Place and cannot be rescheduled.
  • If a technical issue on our side prevents the lesson from taking place.
  • If a customer purchases a package but decides to discontinue before using any sessions.

Refunds are not typically issued for completed lessons.

4. Package Lessons

For lesson packages:

  • Unused sessions may be eligible for a partial refund, calculated based on the remaining unused lessons.
  • Administrative or processing fees may be deducted where applicable.

5. Refund Processing Time

Approved refunds will be processed within 5–10 business days through the original payment method used at the time of purchase.

6. Rescheduling Lessons

Lessons may be rescheduled with at least 24 hours’ notice, subject to tutor availability.
